Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PRISM ("the Service"). By accessing or using PRISM, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

PRISM is a web-based audio analysis tool that provides mix feedback, DSP measurements, and actionable recommendations to music producers. The Service analyzes audio files you upload and returns technical data and prioritized suggestions. PRISM does not modify, store, or distribute your audio files.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using PRISM, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@prism-audio.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Upload audio containing illegal content or content you do not have the right to analyze
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits

5. Audio Files and Data

Audio files uploaded for analysis are processed server-side and deleted immediately after analysis is complete. We do not store, listen to, or share your audio files. If you have a paid account, only extracted numerical features (e.g. LUFS, BPM, spectral data) — not audio — may be retained to provide history features.

6. Intellectual Property

The PRISM platform, its design, algorithms, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You retain full ownership of any audio files you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your audio files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Free and Paid Plans

PRISM offers a free tier with limited monthly scans and paid plans with additional features. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PRISM provides analysis and recommendations for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will achieve specific sonic results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
